The course is designed for staff that may come into contact with individuals exhibiting violent or aggressive behaviour allowing them to deal effectively with aggressive and potentially violent situations. The content of the programme concentrates on the process of identifying and managing significant risks exploring proven control measures, tools and techniques to help staff avoid unnecessary risk. The course allows delegates to explore the early warning signs of aggression in order to take proactive measures in avoiding violence.

This one day course is for anyone who may come across aggression as part of their role.  Dealing with different personalities or those in vulnerable situations can at times result in confrontation.  This course will allow delegates to self reflect in how they respond to these incidents and consider safer working strategies to reduce the risk of violence.
